In addition to kaiseki cuisine, which we have been serving since we first opened, we also offer an à la carte menu which makes abundant use of seasonal ingredients. We at Okura uphold the tradition of serving meals that take our guests’ personal preference, situation, and sometimes even physical condition, into account. Guided by our motto of “Authentic Japanese cuisine for international guests”, we provided service and food at a banquet for APEC leaders in Yokohama in 2010. Yamazato also served Japanese cuisine at the Japanese pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo 2010. Through taste and hospitality, we spread the charm of Japanese cuisine at home and abroad.
